Ron Schutz, MN candidate for AG, Statement on Ellison’s Testimony

Ellison continues to stonewall as voters learn that Democrat leaders knew potential fraud existed as early as 2012.

MINNEAPOLIS -- On Wednesday, Ron Schutz, an acclaimed attorney and Republican candidate for Attorney General, released the following statement in response to Tim Walz and Keith Ellison’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
“The only thing Minnesotans learned during today’s House Oversight Committee hearing is that Keith Ellison and Tim Walz have failed Minnesota families. For years, one-party control has not only known about potential fraud in state government programs but did nothing to enforce the law and bring these criminals to justice, waiting for the federal government to act when our leaders failed. With billions of taxpayer dollars lost and no accountability taken, it’s time for Minnesotans to act. It’s time to break the hold Democrats have had on our state for the last two decades and elect leaders who will uphold the rule of law, will prosecute fraudsters and other criminals who take advantage of Minnesotans, and fight to recoup billions in lost taxpayer dollars.”
